Over at the East India Company their opening seems to have been further delayed but they have posted on Kijiji that they are looking for cooks, so it seems that they're at least in the hiring phase.
Work seems to be going ahead next door at 2001 Robertson where the Co-Operators Insurance used to be. And next to that the property where Local Heroes is located has been put up for lease.
Meanwhile across the street at the Town Hall Plaza, 2006 Robertson Road there was an application for a liquor license made back in March under the name of Bells Corners Bar & Grill.
Also in the same mall, an opportunity has been posted on Kijiji for an Italian bakery to open in conjunction with an existing restaurant (Grazie's?).
2038 Robertson Road where the original Tim Horton's stood,has been sold or leased and is being renovated for another new business
Up the road at 2150 Robertson, the Robertson Centre has space available, not only in the corner where Goodwill used to be but also in the new standalone building being built for the drive-thru TD Bank. A restaurant or retail has been suggested in the leasing ad.
Further along at 2188 Robertson, the Viceroy property has been sold, but no activity there as of yet.
The Nepean Optometric Clinic will be moving to 2194 Robertson Road at the end of July. They're currently in the Bells Mews Plaza at 2039 Robertson Road.
Huntington Properties has the Millenium 1 premises at 2175 Robertson listed for lease. Primo Plaza at at 1980 Robertson Road and 18-26 Northside Road are both for sale as are the properties at 1961-1975-1983 and 1987 Robertson Road. Of course there's a for lease sign at just about every single multi-tenant building on the strip plus off-strip on Bexley, Stafford, and Fitzgerald.
